Let me intrduce myself.

My name is Alison.
I live in and work out of Richmond, Virginia. I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. I fell in love with fitness years ago and it helped me find a balanced, healthy life filled with family, friends, food and adventure. I chose to turn my passion for wellness into a career when I experienced firsthand the difference simple lifestyle changes can make.
I am always learning and expanding my knowledge of health and wellness to stay up to date with the newest fitness and food science and trends. My mission in life is to help people grow stronger, more confident and endlessly full of life!

Where do we train?
I train my local clients at my private garage gym in Mechancsville, VA - less than 15 minutes north of Richmond. I’ve recently outfitted it with brand new equipment and AC/heat. You’ll have access to a wide range of state of the art gear in a clean, specialized environment.
I train my virtual clients through my free app and design programs suitable for either in-home or gym environments. I make sure you have a program that makes sense! I keep track of every piece of equipment you have access to and workouts that are fun, challenging and as unique as you are.

What services do I offer?
I offer 1:1 fitness coaching, 1:1 nutrition coaching, combinations of the two and a variety of online services designed to cater to any budget. If you’re curious about trying out RVA Iron Gym or working out with me (or both!) contact me about scheduling a private 1 hour session - no strings attached!
I am currently working on a monthly subscription service that will provide members with a thorough overview of the fundamental skills necessary to get moving. A subscription will provide you with weekly workouts, nutrition guidance and a couple nifty tools to help you map out your goals. Stay tuned!
My goal is to help you achieve the type of wellness that ensures the highest quality of life and a healthy lifestyle that allows you to enjoy food in all of its delicious forms. Balance is always my primary objective!

How do we get started?
I can't wait to work with you! Shoot me an email if you have any specific questions or want to schedule an assessment! We can do assessments virtually but if you're local, I always recommend setting up a time that works for you to meet with me in person.
If you're not in the Richmond area, feel free to reach out about setting up a virtual appointment and we will get started. Make sure you’re equipped with video chat software so I can guide you through the physical portion of the assessment. And don’t forget, assessments are always free!
The assessment consists of a thorough questionnaire and a mobility evaluation. I want to get to know you, your goals and your starting point. There is no wrong time to start! This is a no judgment zone where I work hard to meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be.
